How do I claim a listing and earn the Verified badge?
Claim your company's listing by proving you control its domain, then you can edit it and carry the Verified badge.

Start the claim
Find your company's page and press "Claim". The same step is reachable at /claim/<listing>, with the listing name in place of the placeholder.
You must show control of the company's domain. Pick one method:
- Email: we send a private link to a mailbox on your company's own domain.
- DNS TXT: add a TXT record to the root domain.
- Meta tag: place a tag in the head of your homepage.
- File: upload a small verification file to your website.
Code lifetime
Each verification code is valid for 14 days. Once that window closes the code is dead. Begin the claim process again to try once more.
Result of a successful claim
- Ownership: if nobody had claimed the listing, it becomes yours.
- Editing: you can change the listing details.
- Badge: the Verified badge appears on the listing.
What the badge measures
One thing only: you control the domain. It cannot be bought. It is also separate from paid placement and from votes. Community votes set the order; money never does.
