Q&A
- I have no Social Security Number. Can I still get an EIN?
- Yes. The IRS issues EINs to foreign owners without an SSN through Form SS-4. We prepare and send it the day your company is approved and follow up with the IRS. The ordinary route takes six to eight weeks, and the expedited EIN brings it to two to three weeks.
- What do I owe every year?
- Our renewal and the state's yearly charge. On Launch in Wyoming that is $249 to us and $60 to the state, $309 in all. A foreign-owned single-member LLC also files Form 5472 each year, and it sits on your calendar with the date.
- Can I add tools later, or start with everything?
- Both. Start on Launch and add email, a US number or a site one at a time. Or choose Operate and have them all included, the books too.
- Is the state fee included in the price?
- On Launch or Operate you pay the state filing fee alongside our fee, at the same figure the state charges us: $102.40 in Wyoming, $110 in Delaware. You see the whole figure before you confirm.
- Can I form a US company without living in the United States?
- Yes. You do not need to be a citizen or resident, or ever visit. You do need a registered agent in your state, which every plan includes for the first year.
