- Does BillSensor need access to my Gmail account?
- No. Gmail detection runs inside your own browser on billing emails you open. There is no Google sign-in, no permission screen, and no Gmail API request. Outlook works differently and uses a single read-only connection.
- How does Outlook and Microsoft 365 detection work?
- You connect once through Microsoft's consent screen requesting Mail.Read, which is read-only. The extension scans the last 12 months of billing history in a single pass. Free accounts re-scan on demand, while Pro and Business re-scan automatically each day.
- What actually reaches your servers?
- Raw email content is never stored or transmitted. Only parsed subscription details are synced when you create an account: the tool name, amount, renewal date, and cancellation status. This allows renewal emails to be sent and data to sync across devices.
- What is the difference between Pro and Business?
