Overview
TradeBo is a ladder trading automation platform that works with assets you already hold. It uses a Swing Ladder strategy that sets buy and sell price levels around your positions and automatically trades each swing between them. The software operates through a desktop Broker Agent that connects to Robinhood or Interactive Brokers, checking your positions on a schedule you control—every minute by default during market hours. Your broker credentials stay encrypted on your computer; TradeBo's cloud only receives positions and balances, then sends back orders for the agent to place. You can configure it in roughly seven minutes by installing the agent, connecting your broker, and assigning a strategy to a position.

- How are my broker credentials secured?
- Your broker login credentials are configured in the Broker Agent and kept in your operating system's own keychain on your computer. They never leave your machine or are sent to TradeBo's cloud. TradeBo only receives your positions and balances, never your password.
- What does the pricing model cost?
- TradeBo uses prepaid credits with no monthly subscription. One credit equals one position checked in one engine cycle. Pricing starts from $5 for 250,000 credits. Credits are used only when the engine checks positions with assigned strategies and do not expire.
- Do I need to paste API keys to use TradeBo?
- No. The Broker Agent installs locally on your computer, you log into your broker once through the agent, and the engine is live. There is no screensharing, pasted API keys, or support calls required.
- Can I test TradeBo before connecting my real broker account?
- Yes. You can run a free backtest that replays the strategy over a symbol's real price history, including losing stretches, without connecting a broker at all.
- What happens if I run out of credits?
- The engine stops checking your positions and places no new orders until you top up. Your holdings stay as they are, and you are emailed when the balance reaches zero. You can also ask for a warning before it gets there.
