Authoryze provides single-use virtual cards for AI agent purchases, keeping your real card hidden and limiting exposure from breaches.
Overview

Authoryze is a payment infrastructure platform designed for AI agents. It issues single-use virtual cards for each approved agent purchase, ensuring your real card and funding details never reach the agent. The platform provides authorization controls including spending limits, merchant rules, approval workflows, and complete audit trails for all transactions.
The service works with popular AI clients like Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor via OAuth, and supports custom agents through API keys. Teams can share budgets and rules, with individual and team pricing plans available. Card issuance is currently US-only on Visa and Mastercard networks.

Q&A
- How do I connect Authoryze to Claude or ChatGPT?
- Both sign in with OAuth, so no API key is needed. For Claude, open the agent's page and click Add to Claude; for ChatGPT, enable Developer mode in Settings and add the server under ChatGPT Plugins. Full steps are available in the documentation.
- How do I set spending rules for an agent?
- Open the agent's detail page and configure an auto-approve threshold, per-transaction limits, daily/weekly/monthly caps, and a merchant allowlist. You can also set aggregate caps across all agents in Settings.
- Why was a purchase declined?
- Purchases are checked against your configured rules before a card is issued. A decline means the request exceeded a limit, the merchant wasn't on the allowlist, or it violated an aggregate cap. The exact reason appears in your transactions list and rules are enforced server-side.
- Does Authoryze support cards outside the US?
- Card issuance is currently US-only. Both primary and secondary rails issue cards backed by US-based funding sources.
- How do I revoke a connected client?
- Go to Settings → Connected clients to see every AI assistant you have authorized over OAuth. Revoking takes effect on that client's next request.
