CaseParity publishes structured, anonymized sentencing outcome data from public court records for Florida, Virginia, Cook County Illinois, and Harris County
Overview

CaseParity makes the public criminal-court record legible by turning government data that is public by law into careful, version-aware transparency reports. The platform organizes sentencing outcomes drawn from official court records into clear reports by charge, offense date, and location. Each figure is derived from and traceable to named government sources, with full methodology documentation. Reports are available for felony cases across Florida, Virginia, Cook County Illinois, and Harris County Texas, with misdemeanor reports currently available in Florida. The service is designed for defense attorneys, civil-rights attorneys, journalists, researchers, defendants and their families, and victim advocates—providing historical context without predicting outcomes or offering legal advice.

Q&A
- What is a CaseParity report?
- A report describes the documented historical range of outcomes for a charge in a jurisdiction drawn from the public court record, structured and presented in plain language with methodology included. It shows what the record shows across many past cases and organizes outcomes that were already part of the public record without describing any individual person or case.
- Is CaseParity legal advice?
- No. CaseParity publishes court statistics and data, not advice. A report does not predict any result, recommend any strategy, evaluate any individual case, or tell you what to do. For guidance about a specific situation, consult a licensed attorney.
- Can I look up a person or my own case?
- No. CaseParity does not support looking up a person or an individual case. The only inputs are charge, county, and date—never a name. There is no person lookup of any kind.
- Is the data anonymized?
- Yes. Most jurisdictions anonymize records at the source before release. Where a source transmits identifying fields, CaseParity strips them on ingest. No individual is identified in any sentencing data, and the published report contains no names, addresses, Social Security numbers, or case numbers.
- What's the difference between a report and analytics?
- A report is a plain-language, sourced summary of the documented outcome range for a charge in a jurisdiction and is a one-time purchase available to anyone. Analytics is a live subscription add-on for attorneys—an interactive screen for exploring the documented record across charges, courthouses, and judges in the jurisdictions you cover.
