Upload your bank statement PDF to see where your money went, categorized and explained in plain English. No bank login, no signup for one free analysis, nothing
Overview

ReadMyStatement analyzes bank and credit card statement PDFs to show you exactly where your money went. Upload a PDF from any bank in any country, and get back a single page with your spending organized by category (groceries, eating out, transport, bills), your biggest merchants, and any recurring charges or subscriptions.
The service requires no bank login, no account signup for the free tier, and stores nothing. The file is read in memory while your page is built and deleted when it renders. It works with banks worldwide by reading the PDF directly rather than connecting to bank APIs, so it covers institutions in India, Philippines, UK, US, Australia and many other countries.
One statement is always free. Paid packs offer multiple statements analyzed together, exports in CSV and Excel, and a Pro or Business plan for ongoing monthly use. The service verifies its own accuracy by checking that transactions add up to the opening and closing balances on your statement.

Q&A
- Do you store my bank statement?
- No. The file is read in memory while your request is handled and is gone the moment the page renders. It is never written to disk and never backed up. That holds on every plan, free or paid.
- Do I need to connect my bank account?
- No, and you never will. The service never asks for your banking username, password, or one-time code.
- Will this work with my bank if it's not a major American one?
- It should work if your bank provides a PDF statement. One reader handles statements from any country, finding rows with dates and amounts, reading common date and number styles, and checking against the opening and closing balances.
- What if my statement is a scan or photo?
- Scans and photos are read with character recognition on the server. It's useful but not exact; the balance check tells you honestly how well it worked. PDFs downloaded from your bank always read perfectly.
- Do credits expire?
- No. A pack is a one-off purchase and the credits sit on your account until you use them. There's no subscription attached and nothing to cancel.
